The Super Smash Bros.™ Ultimate game just got updated to version 3.1.0, and there are a few new features to discover.

Toy-Con VR Goggles Support

Using the Toy-Con VR Goggles* from the Nintendo Labo: VR Kit (sold separately), play against up to three CPU fighters in limited, timed battles or watch the CPU duke it out. See battles unfold across a selection of stages in a whole new way! This option can be found in the Games & More menu.

amiibo Journey

Using a compatible amiibo™ figure (sold separately), create an in-game Figure Player (FP) and send it on a journey to battle other players’ FPs. FPs who go on journeys will gain experience and rewards such as Gold and Snacks. If you want a closer look at the action, replays of their battles can be watched after a battle occurs.

amiibo Support in Battle Arenas

Figure Players can now enter Battle Arenas to battle other players or FPs online.

If your game hasn’t updated yet, you can manually update it by highlighting the game icon from the HOME Menu, pressing the + Button, and selecting Software Update (internet connection is required).
