Pokémon GO Brings Egg-citement!

The Pokémon GO Eggstravaganza returns, giving Trainers the opportunity to hatch some new Pokémon friends.

March 21, 2018

The Pokémon GO Eggstravaganza returns for its second year in what is becoming an annual event. Starting March 22, 2018, at 9:00 p.m. (UTC), this special event will get cracking, allowing players to have all sorts of Egg-related fun.

Trainers will find special 2 km Eggs at PokéStops while the event is in progress. What makes them so special? During the event, these 2 km Eggs will hatch into Pokémon such as Wynaut or Ralts that normally hatch from 5 km or 10 km Eggs. There will also be an increased hatch rate for certain Pokémon like Togepi and Pichu.

Each Egg that is hatched during the event will also include bonus Candy, making it easier to power up or evolve your Pokémon. Trainers will also earn double Stardust during the Eggstravaganza. To help get these Eggs hatched as soon as possible, the in-game shop will have special boxes available that include Super Incubators and Star Pieces.

The Pokémon GO Eggstravaganza event ends April 2 at 9:00 p.m. (UTC), so don’t wait! Get out there and help hatch some new Pokémon!
