Bulbasaur Busts Out on Pokémon GO Community Day

Catch hordes of Bulbasaur, learn a special move for Venusaur, and earn extra XP during this community event!

The latest Pokémon GO Community Day is upon us! Community Days are monthly worldwide events dedicated to celebrating Pokémon GO’s vast community of Trainers who have helped make the game such a phenomenon.

This month’s Pokémon GO Community Day will be held on March 25, and the featured Pokémon of the day will be none other than Bulbasaur. During a three-hour window that day, wild Bulbasaur will appear with much greater frequency. You’ll want to catch as many as you can during that time period—if you evolve an Ivysaur into Venusaur during those three hours, it will know the attack Frenzy Plant! Only Venusaur that evolve or are caught during the Community Day festivities will learn this awesome move.

In addition to all the Bulbasaur excitement, all Pokémon caught during the event hours will award three times the usual amount of XP (and if you activate a Lucky Egg during the event, you can earn six times the usual XP!). Plus, Lure Modules will also remain active for three hours, helping Trainers get the most out of the event. Check below to find out when the event hours fall in your region of the world:

  • The Asia-Pacific region: March 25, 2018, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. JST
  • Europe, the Middle East, and Africa: March 25, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. UTC
  • The Americas: March 25, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. PDT

So, stock up on Poké Balls, get your Lure Modules ready, and prepare to meet up with fellow Trainers to celebrate the Pokémon GO community! When you share your experiences on social media, remember to use the hashtag #PokemonGOCommunityDay so everyone sees your accomplishments. We’ll see you on March 25!
