Are you ready to continue your Pokémon journey? By purchasing the Pokémon™ Sword Expansion Pass (for Pokémon Sword players) or Pokémon Shield Expansion Pass (for Pokémon Shield players) you will get access to two adventures. Previously, only The Isle of Armor was available, but now you can visit the Crown Tundra as well!
About the Crown Tundra
The Crown Tundra is a vast landscape, with drifts of glittering snow. Here, a man named Peony will appoint you as the leader of his exploration team in the Crown Tundra. You’ll be tasked with investigating the reaches of this frozen land—including the depths of a Pokémon Den. Also, be on the lookout for Legendary Pokémon during your adventure—many Legendary Pokémon from past mainline Pokémon games call the Crown Tundra their home!
And after adventuring in the Crown Tundra, you’ll get the chance to participate in the Galarian Star Tournament. Here, you can team up with some of the trainers you met in the Galar region to form your own dream team!
About The Isle of Armor
The Isle of Armor is a giant island full of environments not seen in Galar before—you’ll find wave-swept beaches, forests, bogs, caves, and sand dunes.
There are also plenty of Pokémon that make this island their home, living freely amid the lush natural surroundings. There’s even a dojo here that specializes in some very particular training styles.

About Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield
And if you have yet to start your journey in the Galar region, Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield is where you start! Choose one of three partner Pokémon—Grookey, Scorbunny, or Sobble—and challenge the troublemakers of Team Yell, while unraveling the mystery behind the Legendary Pokémon Zacian and Zamazenta.
