Get ready for an action-packed season of fun when the Pokémon GO Summer Tour 2018 kicks off. Events are planned around the globe to give players more opportunities to catch and battle along with the Pokémon GO community.

The Tour kicks off with a cool event in Dortmund, Germany, in beautiful Westfalenpark. On June 30 and July 1, visit a special Safari Zone to catch a bunch of different Pokémon. Then, keep exploring Dortmund’s city district to participate in more fun Pokémon GO activities. The Dortmund Safari Zone event is open for everyone to enjoy! Get details.

In North America, Pokémon GO Fest returns to Chicago with a brand-new look on July 14–15. Pokémon GO Fest 2018: A Walk in the Park will take place in historic Lincoln Park, offering an immersive gameplay experience for Trainers of all ages. Single-day passes go on sale May 11 at the event website.

Plans are still being finalized for an event coming to Japan later this year. Hundreds of thousands of Pokémon GO players have already been attending smaller events across Asia, so you can be sure this event will be a smash. Stay tuned for details on this special event.

Even if you can’t make it to any of these major Summer Tour events, there’s still plenty of exciting stuff on the horizon. More announcements about exciting new game features are on the way, so keep checking back for news. Until then, be sure to join up with friends to take on tough Gyms, Raid Battles, and new research challenges, or just go out and catch wild Pokémon!

There are also monthly gatherings happening all over the world on Community Day. The next Community Day event is on Saturday, May 19, when Charmander will be the featured Pokémon. Then, clear your schedules on June 16 and July 8 for the next Community Days—stay tuned for information on the starring Pokémon, which exclusive move can only be learned on that day, and more!

Look forward to loads of Pokémon GO fun this summer and beyond, and stay on top of all the Pokémon GO Summer Tour news here on Pokemon.com. Good luck, Trainers!
