Monster Hunter Generations

In shops and on Nintendo eShop now: Monster Hunter™ Generations

Hunters of all generations unite on Nintendo 3DS family systems.

Version française ici : Monster Hunter™ Generations est désormais disponible en boutique et sur le Nintendo eShop. 😉

Take on the greatest hunt yet in Monster Hunter™ Generations, available now exclusively on Nintendo 3DS family systems. In this sprawling action RPG, you’ll customise your warrior with powerful new skills and abilities before putting them to the test against an unruly roster of ferocious foes! Prepare for the adventure ahead at our Monster Hunter™ Generations gamepage.

With Monster Hunter™ Generations, seasoned players can jump straight into action, while new players can hone their hunting skills at their own pace. Come to the aid of four struggling villages being tormented by a quartet of monsters known as The Fated Four. Work your way through challenging quests, create new weaponry and gear with your spoils, then use your skills to face off against bigger, badder foes. In addition to The Fated Four, tons of fan-favourite beasts make their return, and you’ll also visit villages from past games in the Monster Hunter series.

Monster Hunter Generations

Take up a weapon, choose one of four Hunting Styles and equip Hunter Arts to use in battle. Hunting Styles allow you to bolster your strategic options – select Aerial Style to launch airborne assaults with ease, master evasive manoeuvres and counter powerful attacks with Adept Style, and more. Meanwhile, Hunter Arts allow you to unleash spectacular moves to evade, counter or topple mighty monsters in a pinch!

For an entirely new approach, you can fight and forage as a Felyne warrior in Prowler mode. Prowlers benefit from such envious abilities as boundless stamina, easier gathering and a supply of health-replenishing Acorns that allow you to leap straight back into action after fainting. By switching between Hunter and Prowler between quests, you can continue your adventure as either. Prowler mode is a great way for new players to approach the hunt while giving seasoned slayers a new way to play!

However you choose to hunt, you can take on monsters solo or band together with your fellow hunters and in local or online* multiplayer. Up to four players can work together to stalk, track and conquer prey. You can form hunting parties with any combination of hunters and Prowlers, so find a team that works for you and start slaying!

Beginning today, a free downloadable Starter Pack will be available in-game which includes potions, traps and other useful items to help players dive straight into the hunt. In addition to the Starter Pack, Capcom will be supporting the game with free monthly downloadable quests and content every first Friday of the month through the end of the year. These fresh content packs will present new challenges, and allow players to equip hunters and Felynes with special themed collaboration costumes and weapons based on popular series such as Fire Emblem, The Legend of Zelda, Okami and more.
