Planet Koppai is running out of food. There’s only one hope left: launching a team of brave explorers into space to save the day! Explore the inhospitable planet PNF-404 as intrepid trio Alph, Brittany and Charlie, plus a helpful team of curious creatures they discover on the planet’s surface: the Pikmin themselves! Pikmin 3’s unique blend of strategy, action and adventure first landed on Wii U on July 26th 2013, but if you haven’t tried your hand at finding food for Koppai yet, you can get a taste of the action with a free demo available to download from Nintendo eShop.
Whether you’re a seasoned space traveller or you’re embarking on your first expedition, commanding in comfort is the order of the day with a range of control schemes that suit players of all skill levels. Hold the Wii U GamePad and use instinctive touch controls to direct all the action*, or point the way forward with the Wii Remote Plus and Nunchuk as vital information is displayed on the GamePad screen. On top of the playable demo, you can see the little fellows in a whole new light in PIKMIN Short Movies, now available to download from Nintendo eShop on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS and 2DS. The three short films available as one pack – The Night Juicer, Treasure in a Bottle, and Occupational Hazards – can be enjoyed in high definition on Wii U, and in 3D or 2D on Nintendo 3DS, so you can feel closer to the world of Pikmin than ever before!
Pikmin 3 is available now both from shops and as a download version from Nintendo eShop, only on Wii U.
