Just specifically, like, you know, the Nathan Drake reference: Bob only worked in the first Uncharted. The Nathan Drake sort of neckerchief thing kinda came later I think more so in Uncharted 3 if I recall? It’s not, it wasn’t really a big thing for him and so it wasn’t like specifically Bob is attached to that sort of thing and he’s like “Oh, I gotta keep it!” No way. That got added in after he left Naughty Dog.

It’s such an iconic sort of adventurer, western, “brave new world” kind of motif. It’s been used in many different situations and many different mediums from games to movies and TV and, it is just to show that Sonic is this adventuring type. He’s ready for any situation, you know, and he isn’t afraid to just take off and go do something with his friends or himself. And so we felt that that was sort of important to a person to see that and say like “Oh, wow, OK.” From past experience he’s sort of rebellious, he’s an adventurer and that’s sort of where that came from.
