As previously announced, the Wii Shop Channel will close for good on January 30, 2019.
Please also note that as the Wii Shop Channel closure date approaches, remaining video-on-demand services on Wii will be ending as well.
The full closure of the Wii Shop Channel is on January 30, 2019.
It is no longer possible to add Nintendo Points with either a credit card, a Nintendo Points Card or a Nintendo eShop Card.
We will be removing the ability to add Wii Points with either a credit card or a Wii Points Card on March 26, 2018.
