Red Dead Redemption 2 was nowhere enough to give the PS4 a lead over the Nintendo Switch.

A good push from PS4 with Call of Duty Black Ops 4 but that was far from enough to dethrone the Switch.
Super Mario Party pushed up the Switch's numbers even a little more.

30 weeks. This is the thirtieth week in a row that the Switch is Japan's #1 selling platform.

28 weeks. Let's see if Spider-Man can end that streak. (It didn't.)
Nintendo Switch should reach 5 million units sold in Japan two weeks after this one.
I just want to point out that 14 games in the top 20 are on Nintendo Switch.
Maybe Kingdom Hearts III... But that's after Smash Ultimate... Really I have no idea when the Switch is going to end its streak in Japan.
The 3DS got a little push thanks to Etrian Odyssey X though.
Still thirty thousands units more than the PS4.
At the current rate, the Switch is going to surpass the PS4 in Japan on Christmas 2019, which is when Pokémon for Nintendo Switch is set to release.
Octopath Traveler's launch pushed once again the Switch to over 50K a week.
