An evil corporation has invaded Planet Popstar and set about morphing it into a metallic nightmare, and only one plucky hero can step up to save the day: Kirby! In Kirby: Planet Robobot, out now exclusively on Nintendo 3DS family systems, use all sorts of Copy Abilities and pilot a gigantic piece of tech known as the Robobot Armour to put Kirby’s home world back in order. When the Haltmann Works Company brought a robotic army to Planet Popstar, they surely didn’t expect to fight against their own technology! The ever-adaptable Kirby can take control of Robobot Armour, a hulking craft that lets Kirby stomp through enemies and obstacles alike with ease. By scanning enemies, this super-strong bit of kit can even transform and use more powerful versions of some of Kirby’s Copy Abilities! Zoom through levels as a speedy car in Wheel Mode, cause explosions aplenty in Bomb Mode, and more!

Kirby’s trademark skill is inhaling enemies and objects, then spitting them back out to attack or blast through blocks. That’s not all, though – he can also borrow the powers of any enemies he breathes in! In Kirby: Planet Robobot, many classic Copy Abilities return, and there are a few new ones to play around with too, such as the justice-prescribing Doctor ability and the toxic Poison ability.

You can get Copy Abilities if you use compatible amiibo (sold separately), and some amiibo even unlock special powers or abilities based on the character that was tapped – if you use a Mario amiibo, for example, you’ll unleash the power of Fire Kirby! Loads of amiibo are compatible, so if you have an amiibo, why not tap it in to see what happens?

Also out now, the Kirby Collection of amiibo includes adorable figures of Kirby, King Dedede, Meta Knight and Waddle Dee. If you use these amiibo, you can unlock special Copy Abilities. With a Kirby amiibo from the Kirby Collection you’ll get the unique UFO ability, while other amiibo in the Kirby Collection will give you powered up versions of some other well-known Copy Abilities!

For a breather from the main adventure, try your hand at some additional minigames! Up to four players can partner up via Local Play or Download Play*, or play solo and join forces with computer-controlled sidekicks, to defeat big bosses in Team Kirby Clash. If teamwork isn’t your cup of tea, take on enemies from all directions and try to rack up the highest score you can in Kirby 3D Rumble!
