After the events of Bravely Default, Agnès Oblige is leading the Crystal Orthodoxy and the Duchy of Eternia into an age of peace – until disaster strikes and she’s abducted by the evil Kaiser Oblivion! Determined to set everything right, her bodyguard Yew Geneolgia pledges to rescue Agnès from the kaiser’s Skyhold, an impregnable fortress floating high over Eternia. Along the way, Yew will need to team up with Magnolia Arch and other new faces, plus a few returning heroes like Edea Lee and Tiz Arrior, to survive foreboding dungeons and conquer fearsome enemies.
Balance risk and reward to overcome your enemies in turn-based battles with a twist. With the Brave and Default system, you decide exactly when to attack, and how hard – hold back to bolster your defences, or launch all-out attacks with multiple moves in a single turn! If you need some breathing room, freeze foes still with Bravely Second and take the opportunity to heal up or prepare a devastating special move.
Characters can be assigned jobs, each of which assists in a different area of combat. Experiment with jobs to find useful combinations of skills and abilities, then select suitable roles for each character to make the most of their talents. Some will thrive on the frontlines, while others are at their best when hanging back in support roles! With streamlined systems, it’s now easier than ever to swap between favourite party sets of weapons, abilities, jobs and equipment, so you can always have the right strategy at your fingertips.
You can also connect with other players in several ways using Nintendo 3DS family systems’ unique communication features. Exchange profiles with other players via StreetPass, Local Play and the internet* to rebuild your moon base, team up to defeat fearsome monsters and borrow abilities from other players to give you an edge!
A Bravely Second™: End Layer demo is available to download from Nintendo eShop now. Focusing on the Three Cavaliers – Yew Geneolgia, Janne Angard and Nikolai Nikolanikov – this demo is a prelude to the main adventure, and even allows you to unlock rewards in the full version of the game, depending on your progress in the demo.**
