Luxendarc’s future looks dark once again in Bravely Second™: End Layer, a deep RPG coming exclusively to Nintendo 3DS family systems on February 26th. Explore an enormous fantasy world filled with exciting characters and locations, face enemies in action-packed turn-based battles, and choose between many jobs and abilities to develop fresh battle strategies. After the events of Bravely Default, Agnès Oblige is leading the Crystal Orthodoxy and the Duchy of Eternia into an age of peace – until disaster strikes and she’s abducted by the evil Kaiser Oblivion! Determined to set everything right, her bodyguard Yew Geneolgia pledges to rescue Agnès from the kaiser’s Skyhold, an impregnable fortress floating high over Eternia. Along the way, Yew will need to team up with Magnolia Arch and other new faces, plus a few returning heroes like Edea Lee and Tiz Arrior, to survive foreboding dungeons and conquer fearsome enemies.
At the website, get familiar with various locations around Luxendarc in the World section, meet some key allies and enemies in the Characters section, and get to grips with the game’s unique combat system in the Battle section. Bravely Second™: End Layer is all about balancing risk and reward in turn-based battles. With the Brave and Default system, characters can go all-out and make multiple moves in a single turn, or hold back to bolster their defences and prepare for future moves. It’s also possible to freeze foes in their tracks entirely with Bravely Second, a time-stopping system that can give you the chance to launch devastating special attacks or heal up in the heat of battle.
There are many different strategies on offer thanks to a huge variety of jobs. Check out the Jobs section to familiarise yourself with the various options, including ones completely new to Bravely Second™: End Layer and returning jobs from Bravely Default, and start considering which jobs will complement your play style! In the Communication section, you can also learn about the ways that you can connect with other players via StreetPass, Local Play and the internet.*
A Bravely Second™: End Layer demo is available to download from Nintendo eShop now. Focusing on the Three Cavaliers – Yew Geneolgia, Janne Angard and Nikolai Nikolanikov – this demo is a prelude to the main adventure, and even allows you to unlock rewards in the full version of the game, depending on your progress in the demo.**
Plus, from its release on 26/02/2016 until 23:59 (UK time) on 10/03/2016, you can receive a 10% launch discount when purchasing Bravely Second™: End Layer from Nintendo eShop if you have downloaded the demo using the same Nintendo Network ID.***
