A Peek at the Pokémon 25th Anniversary in the 2020 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
A special appearance featuring dancing Pikachu revealed the 25th Anniversary logo ahead of next year’s celebration.

The famous Pikachu soared among the skyscrapers of Manhattan in the 2020 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade! The iconic Pokémon appeared holding a snowman Pikachu and wearing a scarf in preparation for the cold weather. A special troupe of dancing Pikachu accompanied the balloon, revealing the logo for the Pokémon 25th Anniversary celebration coming in 2021.
Held in New York City on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, this was the 20th consecutive time that the Pikachu balloon has proudly taken its place in this prestigious parade.
