Celebrate the classic that gave a rocket start to racing around the Mushroom Kingdom with the Super Mario Kart™ Tour—the latest limited-time event in the Mario Kart Tour game, happening now! Collect Grand Stars and see if you can earn all the in-game rewards.

Participants in this free event will complete one of the special My Nintendo missions celebrating the 35^th anniversary of the Super Mario Bros.™ game! Players who complete this mission will receive credit on Sept. 29.

 

If you complete enough of the required missions, you’ll be eligible to receive a limited-edition set of commemorative Super Mario Bros. pins*. By completing just one mission, you will become eligible to enter** the My Nintendo Super Mario Bros. Sweepstakes*** for a prize package that would make any Mario fan smile.

Oh, plus! If you haven’t already, be sure to explore the newly added landscape mode and All-Cup Ranking rewards added in a recent update.

Week 1: Mario (SNES) is in the spotlight

In the first week of the Super Mario Kart Tour, you can find Mario (SNES), the 8-bit Pipe Frame kart, and the 8-bit Jumping Mario glider in the spotlight.

Mario (SNES)’s special item is Triple Mushrooms. That’s three boosts—in one item!

The favored courses for this driver will include the second course of every cup for the duration of the Super Mario Kart Tour. This should help you set new point-record high scores.

 

Week 2: Donkey Kong Jr. (SNES) is in the spotlight

In the second week of the Super Mario Kart Tour, you can find Donkey Kong Jr. (SNES), the DK Maximum kart, and the ? Block glider in the spotlight.

Donkey Kong Jr. (SNES)’s special item is Triple Bananas. That’s a bunch!

The favored courses for this driver will include the third course of every cup for the duration of the Super Mario Kart Tour. See if you can go bananas setting new point records.

 

Tour gifts

The included Tour gifts this time are Shy Guy, the Birthday Girl Rosalina kart, and the BBIA Parafoil glider. If you have a Mario Kart Tour Gold Pass subscription and earn enough Grand Stars, you will also receive Mario, the Black B Dasher kart, the Gold Pipe Frame kart, and the Super Glider as Tour gifts.
