Scout Jasmine & Steelix and See Skyla & Swanna Soar in Pokémon Masters

The Johto region duo Jasmine & Steelix boast steely defense—and the power of Mega Evolution!

May 21, 2020

The Johto region Gym Leader Jasmine and her iconic partner, Steelix, are coming to Pokémon Masters as part of a new spotlight scout. They’re super valuable, both for being one of the few 5★ Steel-type sync pairs and for possessing a powerful suite of defenses. Don’t miss the Jasmine & Steelix Spotlight Scout running from May 20, 2020, at 11:00 p.m. PDT until June 4, 2020, at 10:59 p.m. PDT for your chance to scout this spectacular sync pair.

Making her debut in Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver, Jasmine was the first Gym Leader specializing in Steel-type Pokémon that many Trainers ever encountered, and since then she’s learned some new tricks that are sure to come in handy on Pasio. When using Jasmine & Steelix in battle, start off by using X Defense All to sharply increase your whole team’s Defense, then unleash the sync move Steel-Clad Iron Tail! Not only will the sync move Mega Evolve Steelix into Mega Steelix for the rest of the battle, but it will also become more powerful based on how high Jasmine & Steelix’s Defense has been raised.

In addition to the Jasmine & Steelix Spotlight Scout, there will also be a Flying-Type Training Event. This event will prove a great opportunity to power up your Flying-type sync pairs, but one sync pair will soar above the rest—Skyla & Swanna. This support sync pair’s sync grid will expand when the Flying-Type Training Event goes live. If you’re looking to elevate your team for even tougher battles, such as those found in the Battle Villa, you’ll find this sync pair well worth your time.
