Get Zinnia & Rayquaza, Kukui & Lycanroc, and Leaf & Eevee in Pokémon Masters

A legendary event brings some awesome new sync pairs, as well as bonus gems just for logging in.

January 30, 2020

A new event has just begun in Pokémon Masters that will allow you to join forces with the Legendary Pokémon Rayquaza. The legendary event The Dragon That Rules the Sky features the 5★ sync pair Zinnia & Rayquaza, which you can team up with by earning vouchers from event battles. But that’s not all! There’ll be lots of bonus gems to collect, and two other new sync pairs are also available now: 5★ Kukui & Lycanroc and 5★ Leaf & Eevee.

The Dragon That Rules the Sky

In the legendary event The Dragon That Rules the Sky, you can embark on an adventure with Zinnia—a major character from the Delta Episode of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire—and Professor Kukui from the Alola region to investigate an unidentified dragon Pokémon. As you complete the event, you’ll be rewarded with vouchers that you can use to team up with the 5★ sync pair Zinnia & Rayquaza.

To strengthen this sync pair, you’ll need special items that you can get by exchanging vouchers earned in the event in the Exchange Items menu. By completing missions during this event, you can earn items useful for training 5★ Zinnia & Rayquaza, as well as up to 600 gems.

The Dragon That Rules the Sky will be available until February 14, 2020, at 9:59 p.m. PST. Please note that you need to complete Chapter 4 of the main story to participate in this event.

New Sync Pairs

Two new sync pairs have joined the adventure on the island of Pasio. In the Kukui Spotlight Scout, you have an increased chance to scout the 5★ sync pair Kukui & Lycanroc. Their sync move, Island Splintered Stormshards, can remove the effect of opponents’ Reflect and Light Screen before inflicting damage. The Kukui Spotlight Scout will be available until February 14, 2020, at 9:59 p.m. PST.

The Leaf Spotlight Scout features Leaf, the female protagonist from Pokémon FireRed and Pokémon LeafGreen. The 5★ sync pair Leaf & Eevee can use their impressive sync move, Endless Possibilities Extreme Evoboost, to increase their own move gauge and strengthen the stats of allied sync pairs. Don’t delay, though—the Leaf Spotlight Scout will be available only until February 5, 2020, at 9:59 p.m. PST.

Bonus Gems

To coincide with these events, the Legendary Event Log-In Bonus is now under way. You can earn up to 4,200 gems over a 14-day period just by logging in each day, so don’t miss out! Also, to celebrate Pokémon Masters reaching 20 million downloads worldwide, all Trainers who log in to the game during this time will receive 1,500 gems.

Pokémon Masters is available to download now, so don’t miss out on these special events! For more details, be sure to visit the Pokémon Masters official site.
