Audino, Alomomola, and Shiny Lickitung Make Their Debut in the Pokémon GO Valentine’s Day Event

This Valentine’s Day, you’ll be thinking pink when a plethora of pink Pokémon appear in Pokémon GO.

February 14, 2020

Valentine’s Day has arrived, and as mentioned in a previous article about Pokémon GO’s February events, there’s going to be a Pokémon GO celebration to mark the day. From Friday, February 14, 2020, at 8:00 a.m. to Monday, February 17, 2020, at 10:00 p.m. local time, celebrate Valentine’s Day with an event that will feature pink Pokémon appearing more frequently in the wild, in raids, in Eggs, and as Field Research encounters. Be on the lookout for Pokémon like Clefairy, Jigglypuff, Slowpoke, Chansey, Porygon, Flaaffy, Hoppip, Snubbull, Miltank, Whismur, and Skitty. If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny Chansey in the wild or hatch a Shiny Happiny!

Plus, a pair of precious, pink Pokémon are prepared for their Pokémon GO premiere. If you’re fortunate, you might find Audino, the Hearing Pokémon, and Alomomola, the Caring Pokémon.

Regular Lure Modules activated during this event will last for six hours, and you’ll receive twice the normal Candies for catching Pokémon. You can also get your avatar in on the Valentine’s Day action with the Luvdisc Top, Ripped Luvdisc Jeans, and Luvdisc Shoes, all available in the Style Shop.

Because Valentine’s Day is so wonderful, there’s going to be a Raid Day during the celebration. On Saturday, February 15, 2020, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, Lickitung that know Body Slam will appear in four-star raids. During this time, you can receive up to five additional Raid Passes at no cost by spinning Photo Discs at Gyms. Keep in mind that these Raid Passes will not be available after the Raid Day event ends. And yes, if you’re lucky, you might even encounter a Shiny Lickitung!

Have fun looking for pink Pokémon this Valentine’s Day, Trainers!
