November 20, 2019
The end of 2019 is fast approaching, and that means we’ve had another year filled with wonderful Pokémon GO Community Days. To celebrate all the fun we’ve had, there will be a special weekend-long event that brings back all the Pokémon that starred in previous Community Days. Fans will also enjoy extra bonuses during the event.
This special event will take place on Saturday, December 14, 2019, and Sunday, December 15, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. in your local time zone. During these hours, you will encounter Totodile, Swinub, Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, Ralts, Slakoth, Trapinch, Bagon, Turtwig, and Chimchar more frequently in the wild. You’ll also find Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu, Eevee, Dratini, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Mareep, Larvitar, and Beldum appearing in raids. During these times, exclusive moves that were previously featured during Community Day events in 2018 and 2019 will be available once again, so get ready to evolve some Pokémon!
On Saturday during event hours, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Pikachu, Dratini, Totodile, Mareep, Swinub, Larvitar, Treecko, Torchic, Slakoth, and Bagon will be available to hatch from Eggs. And on Sunday, you will find Squirtle, Eevee, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Mudkip, Ralts, Trapinch, Beldum, Turtwig, and Chimchar in Eggs.
Additionally, there will be even more going on from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in your local time zone on both days of the event. On Saturday, Totodile, Swinub, Treecko, Torchic, Slakoth, and Bagon will be found even more frequently in the wild, and on Sunday, you’ll encounter Mudkip, Ralts, Trapinch, Turtwig, and Chimchar more often. Both days will feature twice the Stardust and XP for catching Pokémon during this three-hour window. Likewise, Eggs that are placed in an Incubator during these hours will require half the usual distance to hatch.
It’s been an exciting year in Pokémon GO, and this December Community Day event will be a fantastic way to cap it off. Thanks to all you Pokémon GO Trainers for playing! Have fun during this special weekend, and please look forward to what’s in store for 2020!
