Exploring in Pokémon GO is about to get even easier with the new Adventure Sync feature. With Adventure Sync, you can record how far you’ve walked even while Pokémon GO is inactive. Plus, you’ll keep earning Buddy Candy and making progress toward hatching Pokémon Eggs as you walk.
You’ll receive notifications when your Buddy Pokémon has found Candy for you and when an Egg is about to hatch. Then, at the end of each week, Adventure Sync will provide a summary of your activities, including how much Candy you’ve collected and how far you’ve walked. You’ll even earn rewards for every distance milestone you cross.
You’ll be able to opt in to Adventure Sync at any time, and the feature will connect to both Apple Health on Apple devices and Google Fit on Android devices.
