An Exciting Tainan Safari Zone Wraps Up!
November 9, 2018
The Pokémon GO Safari Zone in Tainan, Taiwan, was a great success. Thank you to the Trainers who visited the Tainan Metropolitan Park and the Chimei Museum throughout the five-day event!
Over one million Trainers visited the Tainan area, and their excitement and enthusiasm made this an unforgettable Safari Zone event!
Trainers who visited the Tainan Metropolitan Park walked an average distance of 4 km per person and caught a total of 45 million Pokémon. As Trainers explored the city, Relicanth appeared more often, and Shiny Pinsir appeared all over the world to celebrate the Tainan Safari Zone event!
We appreciate your sense of adventure, Trainers! We heard many heartwarming stories from Trainers we met—some of you traveled more than five hours to attend the event. We also saw how you became friends with visitors from afar, congratulating others for catching exciting Pokémon and enjoying exploring the park together. Your bold enthusiasm makes Safari Zone events even more special.
Stay tuned for more information about upcoming events—and until then, let’s GO!
