The Legendary Pokémon Zapdos swoops into Pokémon GO as a Raid Boss for only three hours on July 21.

Professor Willow’s Global Challenge continues, and thanks to the community’s outstanding efforts, including those who attended Pokémon GO Fest in Chicago, USA, a special encounter will soon take place. On July 21, Trainers all over the world will have the chance to challenge the Electric- and Flying-type Legendary Pokémon Zapdos in Raid Battles. Lucky Trainers may even encounter a Shiny Zapdos!

The Asia-Pacific region: 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. JST (GMT +9)
Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. UTC (GMT +0)
The Americas and Greenland: 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7)
During that time, all Zapdos that are caught will know the Fast Attack Thunder Shock. Additionally, when you spin a Photo Disc at a Gym during the event, you’ll be able to receive up to five free Raid Passes.
