Dratini Takes Center Stage on Pokémon GO Community Day
Catch hordes of Dratini, learn a special move for Dragonite, and earn extra Stardust during this community event!

The second Pokémon GO Community Day is upon us! In case you missed the first event, Community Days are monthly worldwide events dedicated to celebrating Pokémon GO’s vast community of Trainers who have helped make the game such a phenomenon.
This month’s Pokémon GO Community Day will be held on February 24, and the featured Pokémon of the day will be none other than Dratini. During a three-hour window that day, wild Dratini will appear with much greater frequency. You’ll want to catch as many as you can during that time period—if you evolve a Dragonair into Dragonite during those three hours, it will know the attack Draco Meteor! Only Dragonite that evolve or are caught during the Community Day festivities will learn this awesome move.
In addition to the Dratini excitement, all Pokémon caught during the event hours will award three times the usual amount of Stardust. Plus, Lure Modules will remain active for three hours, helping Trainers to get the most out of the event. Check the times below to find out when the event hours fall in your region of the world:
- Asia-Pacific region: February 24, 2018, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. JST (GMT +9)
- Europe, the Middle East, and Africa: February 24, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. UTC (GMT +0)
- The Americas: February 24, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. PST (GMT -8)
So stock up on Poké Balls, get your Lure Modules ready, and prepare to meet up with fellow Trainers to celebrate the Pokémon GO community!
