Time Is Running Out to Treat Your Pokémon to Some Mega Stones!
Make sure to use these special codes before October 31 to unlock the power of Mega Evolution.

There’s a deadline fast approaching and you might miss your opportunity to unlock a bunch of amazing Mega Stones in your copy of Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon. Mega Stones allow Trainers to Mega Evolve specific Pokémon during battle, letting the Pokémon unleash extremely powerful attacks. To give yourself the competitive edge during battle, make sure to enter these special codes before October 31, 2017. Otherwise, these Mega Stones (and the power that they grant) will be gone.
April Mega Stones password: INTIMIDATE
- Receive Mawilite, Beedrillite, Audinite, and Medichamite to Mega Evolve Mawile, Beedrill, Audino, and Medicham
May Mega Stones password: AZUL
- Receive Pidgeotite, Steelixite, Heracronite, and Houndoominite to Mega Evolve Pidgeot, Steelix, Heracross, and Houndoom
June Mega Stones special code: MATSUBUSA
- Receive Sceptilite, Blazikenite, Swampertite, Cameruptite, and Banettite to Mega Evolve Sceptile, Blaziken, Swampert, Camerupt, and Banette
July Mega Stones special code: SABLEVOLANT
- Receive Tyranitarite, Abomasite, Manectite, and Aggronite to Mega Evolve Tyranitar, Abomasnow, Manectric, and Aggron
August Mega Stones special code: POYONG
- Receive Galladite, Gardevoirite, Lopunnite, and Diancite to Mega Evolve Gallade, Gardevoir, Lopunny, and Diancie
September Mega Stones special code: DRACHE
- Receive Ampharosite, Altarianite, Latiosite, and Latiasite to Mega Evolve Ampharos, Altaria, Latios, and Latias
These Pokémon aren’t available in the wild in Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon, but you can bring them into Pokémon Bank via Poké Transporter from earlier games. The Pokémon you transfer will lose their items in the process, however, so this distribution is currently the only way to get these Mega Stones in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon.
To get the Mega Stones:
- Select Mystery Gift on the main menu.
- Select Receive Gift.
- Select Get with Code/Password, then Yes, and then Yes again to connect to the internet.
- Enter your password.
- Watch as you receive the Mega Stones.
- Speak to the delivery person in any Pokémon Center to pick up your Mega Stones.
- Be sure to save your game.
