The first Pokémon games to visit the Johto region have returned! Discover the classic adventures of Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver today as Virtual Console games for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems. Originally launched in 1999 in Japan, these games were the first Pokémon games in full color. And now, you can experience them again, or for the first time—just as they appeared nearly 20 years ago.
As a bonus for purchasing Pokémon Gold or Pokémon Silver in Nintendo eShop, players will receive a code to get the Mythical Pokémon Celebi in their Pokémon Sun, Pokémon Moon, Pokémon Ultra Sun, or Pokémon Ultra Moon game.
