Lugia and Articuno Appear in Pokémon GO!

The first Legendary Pokémon have been discovered. Now look for them near you!

On Saturday, the Legendary Pokémon Lugia appeared for the first time in Pokémon GO at Pokémon GO Fest. And now it’s your turn to battle and catch the Legendary Pokémon—Lugia has started to appear at Raid Battles everywhere!

 

In other Legendary Pokémon news, Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres are soaring into Pokémon GO, too! The number of Pokémon caught during Pokémon GO Fest by members of Team Mystic, Team Instinct, and Team Valor were tallied up, and the team that caught the most Pokémon determined which of the three Pokémon is appearing first.

And the winner was…Team Mystic! That means the Legendary Pokémon Articuno has also started to appear in Raid Battles all over the globe. Now everyone can catch Articuno, but it will appear at Gyms only until July 31, so join your friends and try to defeat this awesome Pokémon. Then Moltres will appear on July 31 until August 7, followed by Zapdos on August 7 until August 14.
