Go the Distance with Magikarp!

The final update to Pokémon: Magikarp Jump brings with it a new league, new Support Pokémon, and plenty more!

August 23, 2017

The mighty Magikarp has proven itself an elite competitor as it jumped its way through tournament after tournament in Pokémon: Magikarp Jump. All of its training is about to pay off as the game receives its final update, which brings closure to the brave Pokémon’s quest to become a League Champion.

That’s right, in Magikarp Jump’s newest update, we see the addition of the aptly named Master League, which provides the ultimate challenge to see how high your Magikarp can leap. Complete the task, and you’ll get to watch the game’s ending (which we’re obviously not going to spoil here!).

Of course, the ability to complete the game isn’t the only new addition to Magikarp Jump. A variety of new goodies are also included to extend your enjoyment of this lighthearted title. For instance, there are two new Support Pokémon to add to your collection of friends. Both Mimikyu and Gardevoir can be found by spending Diamonds on their respective Friendship Items in the Diamond Shop.

Speaking of shopping, there are other new items for purchase as well. You’ll be able to get new Decorations, new types of food to feed to your Magikarp, and two new training regimens: Steelix Push and Tackle Machine.

Additionally, there are new events to discover and even some new Magikarp patterns that will appear when you catch new Magikarp. These new patterns will become available once you complete the game’s ending—and rumor has it that you might be able to see Magikarp sporting some bold new colors!

Pokémon: Magikarp Jump is available now for iPhone and iPad in the App Store, and for Android devices in Google Play. Magikarp Jump can be played in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and simplified and traditional Chinese.

Download the final update and see how high you can fly in Magikarp Jump today!
