The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia

Earlier this fall, Dark Horse announced The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia. Today, Dark Horse is thrilled to reveal the deluxe edition of The Legend of Zelda EncyclopediaThe Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia follows the New York Times bestseller The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia and The Legend of Zelda: Art & Artifacts. These three books complete the Goddess Collection, which provides a comprehensive look at the series’ first 30 years up to the release of The Legend of Zelda™: Twilight Princess HD, comprising the lore and the artwork, and now, an encyclopedic reference guide.

The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia Deluxe Edition honors the game that started it all by recreating the original gold cartridge as faithfully as possible. The cover is a gold foil paper with gloss lamination and a spot gritty varnish. The details are embossed and debossed. It has gold gilding on the top and fore-edge, with black gilding on the bottom. This book looks and feels so much like the original cartridge you might find yourself blowing into the bottom before you open it! The book comes with a black polypropylene sleeve, lined with velvet flocking, and a scale instruction booklet.

The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia is an exhaustive 320-page guide to The Legend of Zelda™ franchise from the original The Legend of Zelda to The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD. The guide describes enemies and items, potions and poes, an expansion of the lore touched upon in the 2013 smash-hit Hyrule Historia, concept art, screencaps, maps, main characters and how they relate, languages, and much, much more, including an exclusive interview with Series Producer, Eiji Aonuma! The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia, the last of The Goddess Collection trilogy, which includes Hyrule Historia and Art & Artifacts, is a treasure trove of explanations and information about every aspect of The Legend of Zelda universe!

Both editions of The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia go on sale April 24, 2018. The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia Deluxe Edition retails for $79.99 and is available for preorder on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Things From Another World, and at your local comic shop
