Celebrate the Momentous Launch of Nintendo Switch in Madison Square Park
The Final Stop of Nintendo Switch’s Journey to Unexpected Places Across the Country
March 02, 2017
WHAT:
Nintendo Switch is here! Be a part of video game history and join Nintendo in Madison Square Park on March 3 to celebrate the launch of its revolutionary new video game system. Nintendo has been traveling around the country to let fans play Nintendo Switch in unexpected places to show off the unique capabilities of the system. Nintendo Switch is a home gaming system with the portability of a handheld, so playing it in unexpected places really drives home how this new system can be taken anywhere, played at any time and enjoyed with anyone!
In Madison Square Park, Nintendo Switch will be set up in a living room-inspired setting, complete with all the comforts of home. Select people will have the ability to try out select Nintendo Switch games like 1-2-Switch and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Superstar brothers Mario and Luigi will also be there during scheduled times to celebrate with everyone. Capturing fan reactions on something as special as the launch of a new Nintendo system is always a memorable experience.
In addition, a bus branded with the iconic Nintendo logo will be transporting fans back and forth between Madison Square Park and the Nintendo NY store in Rockefeller Plaza. This will give them the opportunity to buy a Nintendo Switch system, while supplies last.
The Nintendo Switch experience will be open to the public between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Nintendo representatives will also be on hand for interviews.
