Specter of Torment and Treasure Trove Everywhere!
We’ve been working alongside Nintendo to make this launch day release possible. We’re happy we could be there on Day 1– considering we formally wrapped up development just last week!
But there’s no time to sit on a parapet and look wistfully into the distance!! Our full attention is on releasing the Specter of Torment and Treasure Trove Update everywhere in April. This is a huge undertaking for us, but we’re working tirelessly to get everything out as fast as we can!
To be clear: Specter of Torment will arrive as a free update to Shovel Knight in April on:

That’s a lot of platforms and we need to make sure we’re testing and bug fixing each and every one! Especially with standalone Specter of Torment games and features like SK co-op which bring more controllers into the mix!

It’s The Shovel Knight Treasure Trove Lead-Up Sale!
There are some big changes happening soon. What do we mean? Well, let’s recap!
Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment is almost here! Specter Knight’s own somber story will be a free update to all existing versions of Shovel Knight and a standalone game as well.
Around the release of this new campaign, all existing versions of Shovel Knight, on all platforms, will become Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove! With three full-fledged character campaigns, Challenge Mode, local co-op, Body Swap, and somehow even more content on the way– Shovel Knight’s adventure has expanded considerably since the original release. Along with the change, the price of Shovel Knight will increase to $24.99 in March.
With all that on the horizon, we thought it would be a good time to kick off a Shovel Knight sale! One of the largest we’ve ever done across as many platforms as we could manage!
