More improvements are here in Pokémon GO to make the game even more fun for everyone. First, check out enhancements to Gyms for players of all levels. In the latest version, when you train at a friendly Gym, you’ll be able to bring a team of six Pokémon to battles instead of just one. Additionally, the CP of the Pokémon you’re training against may be adjusted lower temporarily to match your own Pokémon’s battle capabilities. Now, no matter what level your Pokémon are, you can help your team’s Gyms!

There are also new advantages to earning medals as you play. When you earn a medal based on catching certain types of Pokémon, you’ll earn a catch bonus that will give you a better chance of capturing Pokémon of that type. For example, as you reach a higher tier for the Kindler Medal, your catch bonus to capture Fire-type Pokémon such as Charmander, Vulpix, and Ponyta increases.

Work your way to a new tier by catching many Pokémon of the same type. If a Pokémon has multiple types, your catch bonus will be the average of your bonuses for each type. For example, Pidgey is both Normal and Flying type. Your catch bonus in this case would be the average of your Normal-type and Flying-type bonuses.

To get the benefit of these awesome new features, update your Pokémon GO app to the latest version.
