Now is the perfect time to start competing in Play! Pokémon events! These events are a fun way for Pokémon TCG and video game players to compete, hang out with other Pokémon fans, and show your love of Pokémon. Thousands of Play! Pokémon events are being held around the world, and many are free and open to players of all ages and skill levels. Just show up with your Pokémon video game or TCG deck and get started on the path toward the 2015 Pokémon World Championships.

The 2015 season is under way, with a total of more than $2 million in scholarships, Travel Awards, and other prizes on the line throughout the season! Players around the world are participating in qualifying events to earn their invitation to the Pokémon World Championships in August. Even if you’re just beginning your season, there are still plenty of events remaining on the schedule to earn Championship Points to qualify for a World Championships invitation.

 

In North America, the next big event is the Pokémon Winter Regional Championships, one of the season’s major events. Spread over the weekends of February 14 and February 28, the Winter Regional Championships are an opportunity for both Pokémon TCG and video game players to earn a lot of Championship Points.

Information is rolling in about the 2015 Pokémon National Championships. Start training for your national event today! Pokémon TCG players must be a resident of the country where the event is held, while Pokémon video game players may participate in any country’s National Championships.
