Hello, this is Eiji Aonuma, producer of The Legend of Zelda games.

On Feb. 7, The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses, Master Quest will be in Tokyo to perform a concert celebrating the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D! We’ve also recently created an official The Legend of Zelda Japanese Twitter account (@ZeldaOfficialJP)! To celebrate these events, we’re having a drawing contest in this community!

The theme for this contest is…free-style! Draw anything based on The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask!

Guidelines:

  • Pictures must be drawn using Art Academy: SketchPad, which is available for purchase in Nintendo eShop.
  • Pictures must be The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask themed.
  • Entries are limited to one original work per person.
  • Comment on this post to submit your entry.

Remember, this is a worldwide event so please avoid using writing in your pictures.

The submission period will end on March 01, 2015 or when the number of comments reaches 1000, whichever comes first.

I’ll also announce drawings I like along with my comments as I come across them on The Legend of Zelda Japanese Twitter account, and later on The Legend of Zelda Facebook page and on Nintendo’s American and European Twitter accounts (@NintendoAmerica and @NintendoEurope).

If you don’t have Art Academy: SketchPad, we’d still love for you to participate by giving your drawings you like a Yeah!

I’ll make my choices based on gut feeling! It’s not only about artistic skill but creative ideas, so even if you’re not a painting expert, don’t be shy and send in your drawings. I’m looking forward to seeing your works!

Note: If you submit a drawing as a comment to this post, you grant Nintendo the royalty-free right to publish your drawing online and offline.

Your drawing must be an original work of your own creation. You may include Nintendo logos, brand names and products in your drawing. There should not be any products, logos or brands belonging to other companies included.
