Super Smash Bros for Wii U

 

 

Information:

As of 01/29/15, new update data (Ver. 1.0.2) for the Super Smash Bros. for Wii U game has been made available for download. Users will be required to download this update prior to using the software’s online multiplayer features. Because of this, we strongly recommend that all Super Smash Bros. players download this update data.

 

Update Details:

Ver. 1.0.2 [Released 01/29/15]

 

Added 15 new Smash stages:

Regular 8-Player Stages

Mario Circuit (from Brawl)
Luigi’s Mansion
Pyrosphere
Norfair
Lylat Cruise
Pokemon Stadium 2
Town and City
Smashville
Wii Fit Studio

Omega Stages

Town and City
Mario Circuit (from Brawl)
Pokémon Stadium 2
Lylat Cruise
Mario Galaxy
The Great Cave Offensive

 

*This list includes stages that are revealed as you progress through the game.

*Some of the 8-Player Smash stages have been adjusted to disable random events and stage hazards for a more stable gaming experience.

 

Adjustments have also been made to balance the game and make for a more pleasant gaming experience.

 

Notes:

  • This update must be applied in order to use the Internet features of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.
  • Save data will still be available for use after downloading the update.
  • Replay data that is saved in the game prior to the patch update will no longer be playable after the update.

 

What to Do:

  1. Connect the Wii U console to the Internet. How to
  2. Return to the Wii U Menu and launch Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. How to
  3. The update will be downloaded and installed automatically. More info
  4. Once the update is installed, “Ver. 1.0.2” will be displayed in the bottom-right corner of the title screen.
