When Kyogre undergoes Primal Reversion, it becomes Primal Kyogre, and the length of its body more than doubles!
Kyogre
Summoning rain clouds that cover all the sky, Kyogre is said to have caused great deluges to expand the sea. At the end of its mortal battle with Groudon, it is believed to have fallen into a long slumber deep at the bottom of the ocean.
Primal Kyogre / Primo-Kyogre
The powerful Pokémon Kyogre obtains even greater power upon Primal Reversion. The energy that fills its body spills forth as seawater. Its body composition becomes nearly a match for seawater, and its blue skin glows like a sapphire.
With Primal Reversion, Primal Kyogre’s powerful Sp. Atk will grow even greater! Plus, look forward to more details about Primal Kyogre’s Ability, a power hidden within this awesome Pokémon.
Primal Kyogre’s Ability Revealed
The Primordial Sea Ability, which only Primal Kyogre has, changes the weather condition to an oppressive heavy rain. It is not possible to change the weather condition during heavy rain (leaving aside the efforts of an exceedingly small number of Pokémon).
Features of the heavy rain condition:
- Grants the same effects to Pokémon and their moves as the rain brought about by the Drizzle Ability
- The moves Rain Dance, Sunny Day, Sandstorm, and Hail will fail
- The Abilities Drizzle, Drought, Sand Stream, and Snow Warning will fail to activate
- Fire-type attacks will become ineffective
Normally, the Abilities Drizzle, Drought, Sand Stream, and Snow Warning all last for five turns after being activated, regardless of whether the Pokémon is still in battle or not, and then the weather returns to normal.
Primordial Sea’s weather effects, however, will last as long as Primal Kyogre remains in battle. As soon as it is swapped out for another Pokémon, the weather immediately returns to normal.
An Exclusive Move for Kyogre
The Origin Pulse move slams foes with water massed into ballistic orbs. Only Kyogre can use this powerful attack that can hit multiple opponents.
