Franz Kafka The Metamorphosis, for those who get the reference.
☆ NintendObs Weekly – Monday, August 4, 2014 – Sunday, August 10, 2014.
This week’s issue of Famitsu has a new report on Bayonetta 2. In it, the magazine primarily details Umbran Elegances and accessories, both of which are back for PlatinumGames’ sequel.
Bayonetta 2 allows players to obtain weapons and accessories from Rodin’s shop similar to the first game. “Rakshasa” and “Kafka” are two of the weapons that can be used with Umbran Elegance.
Rakshasa is a sword, and imprisoned within is a demon who has been purified. By flowing the power of Rakshasa into the wielder, one can easily swing the sword with dance-like movements.
Kafka is a bow made by a person who cursed the other man and turned into an insect him/herself. It can fire arrows and use deadly poison on enemies.
Bayonetta 2 features both new and returning accessories. Up to two can be wielded at the same time.
Infernal Communicator and Pulley’s Butterfly are returning from the first Bayonetta. With Infernal Communicator, one can contact demons and make temporal pacts with them, who aid by attacking. Pulley’s Butterfly grants divine protection in the form of butterflies who take damage instead of Bayonetta.
Reward Gavel is a brand new accessory. Players who wear this and slay an enemy with a “torture action” can get more items and halos (currency) as reward.
