Head to Wii Sports Club this weekend for two new sports, as Boxing and Baseball join Tennis, Bowling and Golf to round out the Wii Sports Club package. Whether you like to box, bat, backhand, bowl, or go for birdies, there’s something for everyone to enjoy, and you can even try all five sports free for 48 hours with a free trial*!

In Boxing, lace up your gloves, step into the ring and go toe-to-toe with your opponent over three rounds. Wield two Wii Remote Plus controllers for a real boxing feel, or opt to play with just one controller and try to take your opponents down single-handed. However you play, you’ll have a full suite of jabs, hooks and uppercuts to use against your opponents, plus the ability to duck and sway to steer clear of the incoming punches.

For Baseball, two teams take to the field for three innings of fast pitches, sky-high home runs and last gasp catches, all brought to life through unique and intuitive controls with the Wii Remote Plus and Wii U GamePad. While pitching, get a first-person view from the pitcher’s mound through the GamePad. Aim with precision, then keep your opponent guessing by picking a fastball, curveball, screwball or splitter, then set the power and let fly. If they manage to connect with the ball, keep your eye on the GamePad – you might get a chance to catch them out! Watch the GamePad screen and use motion controls to land the ball snugly in your fielder’s glove.

To celebrate the launch of these two new sports, Wii U owners who download Wii Sports Club will get a 48-hour free trial* enabling them to play the two sports, as well as Bowling, Tennis and Golf. The trial is open to everyone, even to people who sampled a free trial of Wii Sports Club before. Once the trial period ends, players can purchase a Day Pass on Nintendo eShop for £1.79** to play all available sports for a 24-hour period, or can purchase the Baseball & Boxing – 2-in-1 Single-Sport Pass for full access to both sports. One final option for fans is the retail version of Wii Sports Club, launching on July 11th, which gives you full, unlimited access to all five sports, so you can play whenever you like, as long as you like!

All five sports boast precise controls with Wii Motion Plus, fun new Skill Shaper training games, online play*** and more. Find out more about the game at the Wii Sports Club website.

Wii Sports Club is available to download now from Nintendo eShop, and will be released as a retail version on July 11th 2014, only on Wii U.
