Shin’en’s weekly screenshots come to an end.
☆ NintendObs Weekly – Monday, May 26, 2014 – Sunday, June 1, 2014.
Nintendo Everything:
Alas, after seven weeks now Shin’en’s run of exclusive screenshots for us has come to an end! We’ve seen quite a bit of Art of Balance, and now, fittingly, we’re seeing the ending of the game. Take a look below for the background of the credits screen, and read further below for what it is, why it is, and how it is. Thanks to Manfred from Shin’en for giving us all this stuff to show you, and we hope you enjoyed the run!
Here we go again! It’s time for the last curtain in “Screenshot of the week” here at Nintendo Everything. Thanks to Brian for letting us show some bits from Art of Balance for Wii U. Today we’re showing you the background of the credits screen, simply because it looks pretty nice. It’s a real-time animated curtain and shows how well our new Wii U tech can reproduce even difficult materials like rough fabric and satin. A very tender bloom accentuates the soft lighting which comes from two colored spotlights. A soft shadow map fills in the occluded gaps. We hope you liked our small collage from Art of Balance for Wii U. See you soon in the eShop.
