Five full-on sports—Soccer, Tennis, Golf, Baseball, and Horse Racing—bring the challenge and depth you demand to Nintendo 3DS™ systems. Take on friends and rivals in local or online multiplayer*, hone skills in training, or tackle single-player tournaments. Whether you pick Mario, Waluigi, or one of sixteen others, you’re on the road to superstardom!

Before long, you’ll have mastered the ins and outs of each sport: learn when to use an infield shift in Baseball, change your team’s formation in Soccer, and more. Even Horse Racing is surprisingly deep! Build a stable of horses and train them well to win the day in the first-ever horse races in series history. But remember: these aren’t normal sports—they’re Mario Sports. Expect unexpected thrills and power up to stomp the competition.

Recruit powered-up versions of Mushroom Kingdom characters to your team with Mario Sports Superstars series amiibo™ cards. Star Characters have greater ability than normal characters. Tap a compatible amiibo card to unlock the Star Character version of the depicted character. Superstar characters have even greater ability than Star Characters. Use a compatible amiibo card to clear the Road to Superstar mode to unlock the Superstar version of the depicted character.

You can also select Collection from the Main Menu, then tap a compatible amiibo card to get cool, in-game collectible cards featuring characters, gear, and more. There are 90 collectible cards in the series.

The Mario Sports Superstars game launches exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems on Mar. 24, and can be purchased in stores, in Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS, and at Nintendo.com at a suggested retail price of $39.99. One random Mario Sports Superstars series amiibo card is included in specially marked retail packages of the game.
