So many of you have been enjoying The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild anytime, anywhere, thanks to Nintendo Switch. The game arrived in March and we’re thrilled to discover that the boundary breaking adventure has been picking up many prestigious end-of-year awards!
At the recently held Golden Joystick Awards, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild won the coveted Ultimate Game of the Year award, as voted for by the public, as well as Critics Choice Award, Best Audio Award, and Nintendo Game of the Year Award! While they weren’t able to attend, Eiji Aonuma, Satoru Takizawa, Takuhiro Dohta and Hajime Wakai from the development team have provided the following message:
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild also picked up Game of the Year at the PocketLint Gadget Awards and took critics’ breath away in their reviews.
We’re delighted to see the game receive so many prestigious awards and receive such high praise from critics and fans alike. Thank you to all of you who’ve embarked on this open-air adventure with us!
