Play Nintendo’s New Home Gaming System on the Side of a Snowy Mountain

Nintendo Switch is Traveling to Unexpected Places Across the Country

February 23, 2017

WHAT:

Before Nintendo Switch launches worldwide on March 3, come experience the new system on the side of a snowy mountain, an unexpected place that shows off the system’s unique capabilities. Nintendo Switch is a home gaming system with the portability of a handheld, so playing it at the Snowmass ski resort in Aspen, Colorado, really drives home how this new system can be taken anywhere, played at any time and enjoyed with anyone!

Nintendo Switch will be set up in a living room-inspired setting on one of the resort’s ski slopes, complete with all the comforts of home. Fans and resort-goers who are skiing or snowboarding down the mountain will have the ability to take a break and try out select Nintendo Switch games like 1-2-Switch and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Seeing this one-of-a-kind installation in such an unexpected place is truly a sight to behold, as well as a fantastic photo opportunity.

Each of these Nintendo Switch experiences will be an absolute spectacle, featuring visuals that remind people of home gaming, but set in wild locations. Seeing these familiar settings set against dazzling backdrops like a snowy mountain emphasizes how Nintendo Switch transforms any space into a gaming venue.

The Nintendo Switch experience will be open to the public between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 27. Make sure you know how to ski or snowboard if you want to experience this unique Nintendo event.
