1. Overview of the Record of Non-Operating Income (Share of Profit of Entities Accounted for Using Equity Method)

Nintendo Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) recorded a total of 12.0 billion yen of share of profit of entities accounted for using equity method on the consolidated statements of income of the six-month period ended September 30, 2016. This is mainly from The Pokémon Company, which is the Company’s affiliated company. 

 

2. Impact on the Consolidated Financial Forecast

In regard to the impact of the record of non-operating income (the share of profit of entities accounted for using equity method) on the consolidated financial results, please refer to “Six Months Earnings” the Company announced today, on October 26, 2016.
