Join Fox, Falco, Peppy and Slippy as they fight to protect the galaxy from Andross’ evil army in Star Fox Zero, an epic 3D shooter only on Wii U. Prepare for a thrilling space adventure, get to grips with all-new transforming vehicles and chart your path through the Lylat System at our official Star Fox Zero website.
As the bold and courageous Fox McCloud, it’s up to you to lead the legendary Star Fox squadron into action to stop Andross’ forces from spreading chaos throughout the Lylat System! Introduce yourself to the Star Fox crew, as well as some of your rivals, in our Story & Characters section.
In Star Fox Zero, you’ll utilise an immersive control scheme that puts you in the cockpit. Aim with precision using motion controls, and utilise different views on the Wii U GamePad screen and TV screen to get the full picture of the action happening all around you! Whether you’re a rookie pilot or a seasoned pro like Falco Lombardi, visit our How to Play section to learn more.
On top of the Arwing, you’ll pilot vehicles such as the classic Landmaster and new drone-like Gyrowing. Some crafts can even transform, so you can adapt your tactics on the fly! Find out more in our Vehicles section, where you’ll also be briefed on how you can use amiibo (sold separately) to unlock new crafts for your squad!
It’s your mission to stop Andross at all costs, and you’ll have to travel all across the galaxy to reach him. You’ll explore the depths of space, discover incredible worlds and duke it out in thrilling dogfights and epic boss battles. In some stages, you may discover branching paths or even teleporters that will transport you to different parts of the Lylat System. Head over to our Stages section to get an overview of the journey ahead and plot out your route to Andross!

Star Fox Zero will be available from shops and as a downloadable version from Nintendo eShop on April 22nd, only on Wii U. On the same day, Star Fox Zero: First Print Edition will also be available*, including a copy of the game, a Star Fox Guard game disc and Premium SteelBook® software case. Star Fox Guard will also be available to download from Nintendo eShop on Wii U on the same day.
