Pokémon Red Blue YellowCelebrate 20 years of Pokémon with a return to where it all started in Pokémon Red, Pokémon Blue, and Pokémon Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition, rereleased for systems in the Nintendo 3DS family! These games launch 20 years to the day since the original Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green games launched for the Game Boy on February 27, 1996, in Japan. Explore the Kanto region and experience the excitement of the first Pokémon games all over again. The games look and play just as they did when they were originally released.

Look forward to a few enhancements, including compatibility with Pokémon Bank. With Pokémon Bank you’ll be able to transfer the Pokémon you’ve caught in Pokémon Red, Pokémon Blue, and Pokémon Yellow to the upcoming Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon video games! You’ll also be able to battle and trade with your friends between the three games wirelessly—no Game Link Cable needed!

Pokémon Red Blue YellowUsing Pokémon Bank, you’ll be able to transfer Pokémon you’ve caught in the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console versions of Pokémon Red, Pokémon Blue, and Pokémon Yellow into your copy of Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon. Pokémon from Pokémon Omega Ruby, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, Pokémon X, and Pokémon Y can also be brought into Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon in the same way.

Visit the Pokémon Bank page for important details on the planned update to support Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon.

The limited-edition New Nintendo 3DS Pokémon 20th Anniversary bundles are also now available! Each bundle includes a New Nintendo 3DS system, Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue pre-installed, and special Pokémon faceplates featuring artwork from the original games!
