Create dream homes, gorgeous gardens and a lively town square in Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, out now exclusively for Nintendo 3DS family systems! Take on requests from all your favourite friends and make their dream homes a reality in this all-new title in the Animal Crossing world, or help Isabelle to develop the town plaza into the place to be! Alongside the game, a range of new accessories and special edition bundles are also out now, including the Nintendo 3DS NFC Reader/Writer accessory, which allows you to use amiibo on Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo 3DS XL and Nintendo 2DS systems, plus Animal Crossing amiibo cards series 1!
As the latest employee of Nook’s Homes, Tom Nook’s real estate agency, it’s up to you to design wonderful homes to suit any animal. Chat with potential clients to find out what sort of pad they’d prefer, then put your decorating skills to the test and put together ideal abodes, inside and out. Do away with dreary décor and give each of your animal friends a place to call “home, sweet home!”
Let your imagination run wild and interpret each animal’s request however you see fit, but be sure to include any items that they already own! Once you’ve received a request, pick a plot of land, customise the look of the house itself and get to work. Head inside the house to overhaul the interior with furniture, wallpaper, floors and ornaments from your catalogue, then pop outside to landscape the garden too. With simple Touch Screen controls, placing and moving items has never been so easy!
Isabelle needs your help to build up a brilliant town square too, so co-ordinate with her to develop town facilities, such as schools, shops and restaurants. Apply your home design flair to town facilities and the town plaza will expand in no time. As the town plaza grows, more and more animals will appear outside Nook’s Homes, waiting for you to help them.
Animal Crossing amiibo cards series 1 is also out now – collectible cards of many of your favourite Animal Crossing friends! With Animal Crossing amiibo cards, you can connect directly to your favourite animal friends and design their homes without waiting for them to appear outside Nook’s Homes first. With special amiibo cards, you can design the homes of characters who don’t usually make requests, such as Isabelle and K.K. You can also use amiibo to invite animals into any homes you’ve created or assign them roles in town facilities!
