Switch between security cameras and blast down waves of robotic intruders as you defend valuable metal mining sites in Star Fox Guard, launching exclusively for Wii U on April 22nd. Look sharp, tadpole – we’ve got loads of new information available over at our updated Star Fox Guard gamepage.

Star Fox GuardAs the war rages on in Star Fox Zero, business is booming for one small, up-and-coming mining company – and you’re its newest employee! Grippy Toad has appointed you as head of security at Corneria Precious Metals Ltd., and it’s your job to ward off waves of robotic rust buckets who want nothing more than to put a stop to Grippy’s lucrative mining operations. Fortunately, Slippy Toad – Grippy’s nephew and long-time member of the Star Fox squadron – has just the ticket…

Take control of the sophisticated AegisCam system and switch between 12 laserfied cameras, each strategically placed to watch over a maze-like mining facility. Look out for enemies by scouring the dozen video feeds on the TV screen, then tap the corresponding camera on the Wii U GamePad touch screen to take control and blast those troublemakers away! Prepare your defences and keep your eyes peeled as intruders encroach from all angles – leave them with no place to hide.

Alongside our array of super-specialised, highly-manoeuvrable security cameras, information is the most vital weapon we have in the fight against the bots. Luckily for you, we’ve just hit the mother lode of enemy intelligence. Sending the data to your screen now…enemy forces analysed! Head on over to the gamepage to learn more about the different kinds of robot you’ll be battling against – from the brutish Big-Gs to the sneaky Shieldtrons, there’ll be lots of bots itching to pilfer your silver.

Star Fox GuardGet a glimpse of the powerful unlockable weaponry you’ll be using to shred sentient scrap, like the sub-zero Freeze Cam and the all-seeing X-Ray Cam. You can also read all about the unique online* game modes where players can orchestrate their most devious enemy attack patterns, then upload them to the internet for others to face. Finally, brush up on the game’s amiibo functionality, compatible with both the Fox and Falco amiibo**.

Prepare yourself for the cutest cyborg invasion of all time at our updated Star Fox Guard gamepage, and remember – pesky robots are strictly prohibited!

Star Fox Guard will be available to download from Nintendo eShop on Wii U from April 22nd. On the same day, Star Fox Zero First Print Edition will also be available in limited quantities, containing a Star Fox Zero Game Disc, a Star Fox Guard Game Disc and a Premium SteelBook® software case.
