Start the mother of all parties and take on the frenzied, colorful world of action party game Runbow, featuring the first-ever nine-player gameplay on the Wii U system. Launching today in the Nintendo eShop on Wii U for $14.99, Runbow from 13AM Games features a never-before seen color mechanic that has racers brawl amongst each other while objects appear and disappear when the background color changes. Along with five local and online multiplayer game modes, Runbow features two single-player modes that will test the skills and minds of any challenger.

For further fun, Runbow features 15 guest characters from some of the Wii U system’s biggest indie games, including Guacamelee!, Shovel Knight and Steamworld Dig. The game utilizes every Wii U controller, making it a breeze to host parties with friends and family. Additionally, Wii U gamers who downloaded the special Runbow demo during the E3 Nindies@Home Program will receive a 15 percent discount.

“In a world filled with many similar looking titles, we sought to develop a game that would stand out from the herd and inspire creativity in the games industry,” said Dave Proctor, Co-Founder of 13AM Games. “With Runbow, we believe we’re giving gamers the innovative gameplay that they crave, while also showing that developers are still capable of crafting new concepts. We’ve already been overwhelmed by the massive amount of fan support and we’re looking forward to Runbow inspiring future developers to show off their imagination.”

In Runbow, up-to nine players race against each other as platforms and obstacles appear and disappear while the background cycles through a series of vibrant colors. Players can sprint against each other in classic “Run” mode, or try their luck in one of Runbow’s six additional modes, including Arena, King of the Hill, Colour Master and Adventure Mode.
