Coming out of E3, Nintendo has earned several awards from media for the games shown. Overall, Nintendo has earned more than 120 awards and more than 200 nominations. The biggest winners include Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, Splatoon, Mario Maker and Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.

 

The most notable awards, the E3 Game Critics Awards, were recently announced and Nintendo earned three top honors!

 

Best Handheld Game

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS

 

Best Fighting Game

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U

 

Best Social/Family/Casual Game

Mario Maker

 

Nintendo also earned three additional nominations for the awards. These include:

 

Best Original Game

Splatoon

 

Best Social/Family/Casual Game

Yoshi’s Woolly World

 

Best Online Multiplayer

Splatoon
